Tender Coconut Millet Pongal Recipe

Ingredients

  • ½ TinNestlé MILKMAID
  • ½ CupFoxtail Millet
  • ¼ CupMoong Dal
  • 1 and ½ CupMilk
  • ½ CupTender Coconut Water
  • ½ CupChopped Tender Coconut Pieces
  • ½ TspCardamom Powder
  • As RequiredGhee
  • 8-10Cashews Nuts
  • 8-10Raisins
  • Pinch of Salt

How to make Tender Coconut Millet Pongal

  • Step 1:  Wash and soak foxtail millet and moong dal for 15 mins.
  • Step 2:  To a pressure cooker add soaked millet and dal, coconut water, milk, salt and cook for 5 whistles.
  • Step 3:  Open after the pressure is released and then add Nestlé MILKMAID along with tender coconut pieces, roasted nuts, cardamom powder, ghee and mix well.
