  • 1 Tin Nestlé MILKMAID Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 3 TbspSugar
  • ½ Cup Water
  • 150 g Butter
  • 1 ½ CupDried Fruits
  • ½ TspBaking Soda
  • ½ CupCurd
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • Orange Zest
  • Ginger
  • Salt

How to make Plum Cake Recipe (No Alcohol)

  • Step 1: Caramelise 3 tbsp sugar. Once it melts and starts to caramelise, add ½ c water, 150g butter, 11/2 c dried fruits, ½ tsp baking soda. Let it cook till thick. Keep aside to cool.
  • Step 2: Into a mixing bowl add 1 ½ c flour, ¾ tsp baking powder, ½ tsp cinnamon powder, 1/8 tsp each nutmeg and cloves powder. Mix well to combine. Keep aside.
  • Step 3: Once the mixture is cool, add ¾ c Nestlé MILKMAID.
  • Step 4: Now add ½ cup curd, 2 large eggs, pinch of salt and beat lightly using the wire whisk. Add orange zest, candied ginger and chopped nuts.
  • Step 5: Add sifted flour and mix to combine. Pour this into an 8” tray Arrange nuts of top of the cake and bake at 170 degree for 45-50 minutes or until a skewer inserted in the centre of the cake comes out clean.
