  • 1 cupMaida
  • 3 tbspCocoa Powder
  • ½ tspBaking Powder
  • ½ tspCinnamon Powder
  • ½ tspSoda Bicarbonate
  • 50 gButter
  • 1 tspVanilla Essence
  • 100 mlAerated Soda

For Hot Chocolate Milk:

  • 1 cupNESTLÉ a+ Milk
  • 1 tbsp, powderedSugar
  • 2 tbspCocoa Powder
  • 2 tbspDark Chocolate Chips

How to make Hot Chocolate Cake

  • Step 1: Grease an 8” baking tin and dust it with flour. Preheat the oven to 180o C. Sieve together maida, cocoa powder, cinnamon powder, baking powder, and soda bicarbonate.
  • Step 2: Soften butter in a mixing bowl, add Nestlé MILKMAID to it, and beat well. Now add vanilla essence. Add maida mixture and aerated soda alternately to the batter till all the maida and soda are used up.
  • Step 3: Pour the batter into the baking tin and bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or till the toothpick inserted in the centre of the cake comes out clean. Remove from oven.
  • Step 4: For hot chocolate milk, combine all the ingredients and bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring continuously until the cocoa powder's raw taste disappears.
  • Step 5: Add the hot chocolate milk to the hot cake, allow it to soak the chocolate milk and serve.
