How to make Choco Vanilla Layered Blancmange
- Step 1: Mix Nestlé MILKMAID with water and blend well. Divide this mixture into two halves.
For Vanilla layer:
- Step 1:Mix 4 tbsp corn flour with little water to make a paste. Bring half of the diluted Milkmaid mixture, prepared in step 1, to a boil. Add the corn flour mixture and cook on a low flame until thick. Keep stirring all the time.
- Step 2: Remove from flame and add vanilla essence. Divide the mixture into 4 stemmed glasses and allow to set in the fridge.
For Chocolate layer:
- Step 1: Blend remaining 4 tbsp corn flour with little water to make a paste. Bring the remaining diluted Milkmaid mixture to boil, then add the corn flour mixture and cook on a low flame until thick, stirring constantly. Remove from flame.
- Step 2 Break the dark chocolate into bits, add to this hot milk and stir until the sauce is smooth and chocolate is melted.
- Step 3: Cool the mixture and spoon into the glasses over the Vanilla layer. Smoothen the top and set in the fridge.
Garnishing suggestion: Sprinkle white and chocolate curls over and serve.
